Search Engine Optimization

The words Search Engine Optimization is a fairly unknown term by most website owners. Most business owners who have been in business for some time and who own websites may be familiar with the term, however, those new to business have no idea of just what exactly search engine optimization means or can do for their site.

A well known fact of business is that advertising is necessary to inform the public of the services or products that your business offers. There are many different forms of advertising, whether it be print, radio, TV, or online. Search Engine Optimization should be looked upon as a form of advertising for your website.

There are, however, many different variables that encompass search engine optimization which must be placed and done correctly in order for them to work properly. For example google has over 100 different variables which must be placed properly in your websites code in order for your site to rank higher under the organic listings than the competition. The proper title of your website pages, the proper number of keywords placed on each page, the type of code your page has been programmed with, meta-tags, and even the number of active links to your site and what page they link to, I could go on and on but I'm sure you get the point.

In my opinion Search Engine Optimization should be an integral part of every website, and it is for every site we at ATXWeb-Insite design or update. Some companies may claim to be able to do search engine optimization we, however, have a 100 percent success rate of getting all our clients on the very first page of every major search engine in the number 1 or 2 spot. I know your probably thinking that's a bold statement, well we can back it up.

How many times have you gone to the Internet and looked for a service or a product and honestly looked past the first two pages? Probably very few, my point is if your going to have a website on the Internet shouldn't it be in the place where everyone looks. So the next time you look at your website and wonder why its not on the front page when you type in a keyword for your industry remember you could be doing business with people who are actually looking for what it is you offer, if only they would have found you first.
